An Ode to Pidgeons
We all know the million reasons
as to why chickens cross roads,
But why do pidgeons cross roads?
This I can tell you.
Once, on a sunny Sunday,
A pidgeon landed in the
Middle
of the road.
And from there onwards,
it walked to thre other side-
despite Grand Prix cars racing by,
it carried on, oblivious
The pidgeon reached the other side quite unharmed.
But as it turned to look
at the cars it had dodged,
I knew why pidgeons cross roads-
